Safeguarding & Prohibited Content
Last updated the current version
London Screenwriters' Festival operates LSFConnect as a professional community and has zero tolerance for illegal content and for anything that endangers children or other people. This Safeguarding & Prohibited Content policy explains the lines that must never be crossed and how we respond. It took effect on the date shown at the top of this page.
1. Minimum age
You must be at least 12 to use the Service. Accounts we believe belong to someone under that age will be closed.
2. Absolutely prohibited
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor are strictly forbidden and will be removed and reported. Also prohibited: content that incites or facilitates violence or terrorism; credible threats; the sale of illegal goods or services; content that promotes self-harm or suicide; and non-consensual intimate imagery.
3. Reporting
If you see content that breaches this policy, report it in the Service or email hello@lsfconnect.com with the location and details. Reports are treated seriously and, where they concern the safety of a child or a person at risk, urgently.
4. Our response and cooperation with authorities
We remove prohibited content, close the accounts responsible, preserve relevant information where the law requires, and report suspected illegal activity — in particular the exploitation of children — to law-enforcement and the appropriate authorities. We cooperate with lawful requests from those authorities.
